Legal Tools by Celant is the ultimate app that provides relevant core functionalities to legal professionals via the tried-and-true email technology. To provide for fast and secure delivery of processed documents, our app runs in your organization's network and uses industry standard SSL/TLS encryption. Our app runs on Java, so we are platform independent.
How does it work?
In short, the app checks designated email accounts at pre-set intervals (default is 10 seconds) and runs an appropriate module upon receipt of email from a registered user, and replies back to the registered user with the processed document.
How do I implement it?
Implementing the application is easy. You need to: (i) set up a virtual or physical machine using either Miscrosoft Windows or a Linux distribution (RHEL or CentOS is reocmmended), (ii) either run our installation script that will install the Java platform and all of the dependencies, or follow our detailed installation instructions, and (iii) configure the application (mostly email server, email account and user related information) using the app's admin console through a web browser. Windows Requirements
Microsoft Windows 7+. Requires internet connection and 4 separate email addresses to be exclusively used by the app, accessible using either MS Exchange or POP3/IMAP and SMTP protocols.
For a virtual server, we recommend 2 vCPUs, 4 GB of RAM and 25 GB of HD. For a physical server, we recommend 1 CPU with 2 cores, 4GB of RAM and 25 GB of HD.
Linux Requirements
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 or CentOS 7 Recommended. Requires internet connection and 4 separate email addresses to be exclusively used by the app, accessible using either MS Exchange or POP3/IMAP and SMTP protocols.
